Obituary for Bertia Ann McKeehan

Bertia Ann McKeehan, age 82, of Villanow, passed away Monday, January 08, 2018, at her residence.She was born June 12th, 1935 in Gordon County Georgia and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Eliza Raines; She was also preceded in death by her husband Jimmy McKeehan; two sons, Michael and Johnny McKeehan; six brothers, Russell, Pete, Bill, Bud, Frank and Luther Raines; two sisters, Fannie Harmon and Elizabeth Taylor. She was a life-time member of Sugar Valley Church of God and attended New Beginning Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Debra Bruner of Villanow; sister Nora Lee Pickens of Sugar Valley; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday January 10, 2018, at 12 noon at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Williams officiating. Burial will be in Dunnagan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Tuesday January 9, 2018 from 5 pm until 9 pm.
