Obituary for Dorothy "Dot" Kuhne

Dorothy “Dot” Kuhne, age 69, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her residence.She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Kuhne; parents George and Betty Nye; father-in-law, Stanley Kuhne. Dot was a member of Salem Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Scott Stone of Cleveland, TN, and Kelley and Scott McAllister of Dalton; a sister and brother-in-law, Ginger and Larry McMillen of Anna Maria Island, FL.; mother-in-law, Artie Kuhne; grandchildren, Garrett Stone, Mallory McAllister, Delaney Stone, Makenna McAllister, and Bronson Stone; nieces and nephews also survive.The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 a. m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Mullis and Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.You may leave the family a message or light a candle on the tribute wall at www.julianpeeples.com.Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton.
